Soichi Hashimoto became the world champion in 2017 in Budapest and took silver in 2018 in Baku and bronze in 2021. Hashimoto won the Masters in Guadalajara in 2016. In 2017 he won the Grand Slam in Paris in 2017, 2019 and 2020 and Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg and IJF Masters in 2017 and 2019. Soichi Hashimoto (JPN) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for seniors U73kg from 2017-2019. In 2019 he won the Grand Prix in Montreal. World Mixed team gold in Tokyo in 2019. He took bronze at the Grand Slam Brasilia in 2019. He took silver at the IJF Judo masters in Doha in 2021 and GS Paris in 2022.
