Guram Tushishvili of Georgia became World Champion in 2018 in Baku and claimed a bronze medal at the World Championships in Tashkent in 2022. He took silver at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. He is the European Champion of 2017 in Warsaw and took bronze in 2020 and 2021, also he won the European team title with Georgia. He took gold at the IJF Masters in 2017 and 2018. He captured European Games gold in Minsk. He won gold at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2022, Düsseldorf in 2020 and Baku in 2017. Tushishvili is the World Cadet Champion of 2011 and took two European Junior titles in 2013 and 2015.
