Emmanuel Nartey of Ghana has an international judo reputation and competed at many World Championships since 2007 and Olympic Games in London. Nartey won three bronze African medals in 2007, 2013 and 2015 and the World Cups in Apia and Port Louis. He won the African Open in Casablanca in 2016. He bagged a bronze medal at the Pan American Open in Punto Cana in 2021.
