Davud Mammadov of Azerbaijan became European Junior Champion Judo in 2013 in Sarajevo. He won European U23 silver in 2015 in Bratislava. Mammadov changed his passport name into David Mammadsoy in 2016. He won bronze at the Grand Prix in Ulaanbaatar in 2016 and bronze at the Grand Slam Tyumen in 2016. Davud Mammadsoy (AZE) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for juniors U60kg in 2015. He took gold at the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv in 2021.
