Elkhan Mammadov is World Champion judo from Azerbaijan who on the world title U100kg in 2013. Mammadov won the Grand Slam of Abu Dhabi in 2016. He won bronze at the 2010 World Championships U90kg and three European medals U90kg. He stepped up in 2012 and won the world title one year later as first judoka of Azerbaijan. In 2017 he became European Senior champion in Warsaw U100kg at the age of 35 as second oldest male European winner ever. He took bronze at the IJF Masters in St. Petersburg.
