Gwang-Hyeon Choi finished fifth at the 2011 World Championships in Paris. The Korean judoka won three World Cups in Budapest 2009, Suwon 2010 and Prague in 2012, all U60kg. Choi won medals at the Grand Slams in Tokyo and Paris. Asian Champion in 2011 and 2012.
