Paralympic judoka Viktoriya Potapova of Russia won bronze at the Paralympic Games London in 2012 U48kg and Olympic judo bronze in Beijing 2008. She bagged a bronze medal at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. In 2015 she won the IBSA European Championships in Lisbon. She took the European title for women U48kg. In 2015 she won bronze at the IBSA World Games in Seoul. Not able to fight at the Paralympic Games in Rio2016 due to the ban of Russia. She took bronze at the IBSA European title in Genoa in 2019.
