Paralympic judoka Alesya Stepanyuk of Russia bagged a bronze medal at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. She clinched the bronze medal at the IBSA Judo Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2019. She won judo bronze at the 2014 IBSA World Championships in Colorado, USA. In 2015 she won bronze at the IBSA European Championships in Lisbon. In 2015 she won the IBSA World Games in Seoul. She won silver at the Grand Prix in Birmingham in 2016. She won bronze at the Paralympics in Beijing in 2008. Not able to fight at the Paralympic Games in Rio2016 due to the ban of Russia.
