Laetitia Blot defeats the world top and claims gold in Samsun

The last gold medal of the day had to be decided between Miryam Roper (GER) and Laetitia Blot (FRA). After 30 seconds both athletes were penalized with shido for passivity. Always dangerous with her strong ko-soto-gake, ROPER seemed to control the final, when BLOT launched a o-uchi-gari for waza-ari, taking a strong lead.
Putting more pressure, ROPER was able to score but only yuko, the French keeping the lead of the fight. The German had to take risks but she was not paid of, when BLOT scored again waza-ari with a powerful soto-maki-komi.
