Georgian judoka Lasha Bekauri became Olympic Champion at the 2020 Tokyo Games. He became European Champion in 2021, silver in 2023 and bronze in 2024. He claimed a silver medal at the 2023 Worlds in Doha and a bronze medal at the World Championships in Tashkent in 2022. Lasha won the IJF World Masters in 2023. He won the 2018 and 2019 Junior world title. He Lasha took the Cadet World title in 2017 and European Cadet title in 2017 in Kaunas. Lasha captured the Junior European title in 2019 in Vaantaa. Lasha took gold at Grand Slam Tel Aviv in 2023 and Tbilisi in 2023 and 2024.
