Judoka Junior Angulo of Ecuador won the Pan American Cup U21 in Lima in 2018. He captured a silver medal at the Pan American Open in Quito in 2019. He took a bronze medal at the Junior Pan American Championships in Cali in 2019. He clinched a bronze medal at the Pan American Open in Bariloche in 2020. He claimed a silver medal at the Pan American Open in Lima in 2021.
