Colombian Junior Pan American Championships winner Leider Navarro is one of the most exciting young judoka from South America. Navarro has been handed his first start on the IJF World Judo Tour by the Colombian management after impressing on the junior stage and will be one to look out for in Baku and throughout this Olympic cycle. He won the Pan American Open in Cordoba in 2019 and took bronze in Lima. He took a bronze medal at the Pan American Open in Santiago in 2018.
