Danish judoka Mathias Madsen was national judo champion in all age groups. He claimed the European U23 title in 2020 in Porec. He claimed a bronze medal at the European Open in Warsaw in 2019. Mathias won silver at the European Cadet Championships in 2016 as first male medallist for Denmark ever. He won the European Cup U21 in Berlin in 2018. He claimed a bronze medal at the European Cup in Celje in 2019. He won gold at the European Cup U21 Sarajevo in 2019. He bagged a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Linz in 2023.
