Jeon Ki-Young unveils the secrets of Korean judo

This week a judo seminar is organized in Prague with nearly 200 coaches from 5 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Poland and France) taking part in the opening session. The seminar is led by the 1996 Olympic champion and triple world champion Jeon Ki-Young of Korea.

Jeon started his lecture by working on the unbalancing of the opponent and other basic principles. Then he demonstrated his famous seoi-nage emphasizing every important detail and showing several variations of this technique. He continued with sode-tsuri-komi-goshi and his other favourite techniques and explained in detail other techniques Korean judoka are famous for. The sessions lasted almost five hours.
