Dutch Judoka Sanne Hartman took a bronze medal at the 2021 Dutch U15 Championships. In November 2022, she underwent surgery on her back, called scoliosis, she is the very first judoka ever to play judo again after this operation. In 2023, she came back strong by taking silver in The Hague and ending the year with gold at the Open Twente. A bronze medal followed in 2024 at the Dutch U18 championships as well as silver in Ingelmunster and participations at European Cadet Level. She trains at TalentBase and ⁠Judo team Akkermans. Her younger sister is Mirthe Hartman.
