Judoka Alexander Semenenko representing the United States captured the first place at the US Open Fort Lauderdale U18 O90kg in 2018. He took the silver medal at the 2019 Coupe Canada Cup for Cadets in Montreal. He claimed the gold medal at the Quebec Open U18 Montreal in the category O90 in 2019. He captured a gold medal at the Junior European Cup in Skopje in 2023. Having Georgian blood from his mothers side he tries to incorporate Georgian techniques into his judo. Bagged a bronze medal at the 2024 Junior European Cup in Graz.
