Judoka Melkia Auchecorne from France took a bronze medal at the Junior Worlds in Guayaquil in 2022. She became the junior world champion in 2023 in Odivelas. With the team of France she took the Junior European title in 2022 in Prague. She captured a silver medal at the European Championships for Junior in The Hague in 2023. She took the gold medal at the Challenge of Troyes Label A Cadet U63kg in 2018. She started 2022 well with a victory at the Tournament Label Excellence de la Somme Juniors in Amiens. Melkia won the gold medals at the Junior European Cup in Nanterre and in Banja Luka.
