Israeli judoka Yacov Mamistvalov won the European Cadet Championships U17 in Koper in 2009. Later he captured the Israelian title U100kg. His family member is Ramaz Mamistvalov, also judoka and former coach of Ariel Zeevi. He took a bronze medal at the European Open in Tallinn in 2014 and bronze at the European Championships U23 in Wroclaw that same year. He competed at some Grand Prix level events. He won the Israeli senior title in 2017.
