Hungarian judoka Mercedesz Szigetvari took bronze at the Junior European Championships in 2017 in Maribor. She won a bronze medal at the EYOF in Tbilisi in 2015. In 2017 she won Junior European Cups in Kaunas and Paks. She claimed bronze at the Grand Prix in Tbilisi in 2017. She took bronze at the European Open in Lisbon in 2018 and silver in Warsaw. She took gold at the European Cup in Sarajevo in 2018. She took bronze at the European U23 Championship in 2019 and 2020. She bagged a silver medal at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2021 and silver medal at the European Open in Sarajevo in 2021.
