Joao Martinho of Portugal won a bronze medal at the European Junior Championships 2015 in Oberwart. In 2014 Martinho won the European Cup in La Coruna. In 2017 he took a silver medal at the African Open in Casablanca. He won bronze at the European Open in Minsk in 2017. He took a bronze medal at European U23 Championships in 2017 held in Podgorica. He won the Champions League with Sporting Clube Portugal Lisbon in 2019.
