Italian judoka Enrico Bergamelli became European Cadet Champion in 2017 in Kaunas. Italian Junior Champion in 2019. He took a silver medal at the Junior European Cup in Leibnitz in 2019. He took European Junior silver with the Italian mixed team in Vantaa in 2019. He took the gold medal at the European Open in Sarajevo in 2022. He clinched the gold medal at the European Cup in Malaga in 2022. In 2022 he added a bronze medal at the European U23 title in Sarajevo. He secured a silver medal at the European Open in Tallinn in 2023.
